After more than 20 years as an HR consultant and business leader—where I built and led the HR technology division of a large private consulting firm—I decided it was time to take a different path. One where I could choose both the destination and the journey.

This move allows me to work with a smaller number of clients, giving them my full energy and focus, while also making time for what matters most to me: my family, my community, and doing work that is both meaningful and high-quality.

Over the years, one thing has become clear: time is one of our most valuable resources. I’m passionate about helping clients make the most of it—by using HR technology to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and increase effectiveness. That way, your people can focus on strategic priorities and the areas that truly need a human touch.


Whether you’re selecting the right system, implementing a new one, optimizing existing platforms, or navigating a period of change, I take a hands-on, collaborative approach. I roll up my sleeves, work alongside your team, and provide the guidance and training needed to build confidence and drive success.

Lisa M. Berg

Background

Lisa brings over 25 years of Human Resources experience across a variety of specialized areas including multiple HRIS platforms, benefits administration, recruiting, payroll, compensation, and compliance. Before launching LMB Partners, Lisa was a senior leader at an HR consulting firm where she helped grow the company from under 30 to 100 employees and built the HR Technology division from the ground up. Like many small business leaders, she wore a lot of hats—pitching in with sales and marketing, product development, strategic planning, and employee engagement—and was known for her creative thinking, customer-first approach, and can-do attitude. Her HRIS experience includes ADP Workforce Now, UKG Pro, and others.

Habitat For Humanity - Women Build

Giving families a hand up, not a hand out

Women Build is a program I’m especially proud to support. It brings women together to help build safe, affordable housing for families in our community—and I love being hands-on in that process. As a volunteer both on the construction site and the Steering Team, I’ve seen firsthand the difference a safe, secure home can make for families. These are not just homes—we're building confidence, community, and long-term stability.
